Caja de Arena is a personal site by Marlon Avalos Elizondo. By using it you accept the terms below. They are written in plain language on purpose: a term nobody understands is of no use.
What is published here#
Experiments and short notes about technology and artificial intelligence. Each experiment documents one concrete test, with the date, the tools and the conditions it ran under.
That carries an important consequence: results describe what happened that day with those tools, and are not a promise that it will happen again. Models change, interfaces change and prices change. A year-old experiment may not reproduce today, which is exactly why they are dated and never rewritten.
Nothing here is professional, legal, financial or security advice. If a decision involves money or other people's data, verify it yourself.
Using the content#
Text, images and charts are mine. You may quote excerpts and link freely, crediting the source with a link to the original page. To reproduce a whole entry or use it commercially, write to me first:
Code shown in the experiments is there to be used, copied and adapted. It is published as an example and without warranty of any kind: it is not production code, and I am not responsible for what it does on your machine.
What you may not do#
Crawl the site in a way that makes it unusable for others. There is RSS for following what gets published.
Republish the content as your own or without attribution.
Use the contact or subscription forms to send unsolicited advertising.
Links to other sites#
Many entries link to tools, documentation and other people's work. I do not control those sites and am not answerable for what they say or what they do with your data.

These terms may change as the site changes. The version that applies is the one published here.

The site is operated from Costa Rica and is governed by Costa Rican law.
